During my career in corporate and commercial banking, I managed, evaluated, and funded over 1,500 companies with revenues ranging from $1 million to $3 billion+. I secured multi-national clients and successfully grew a loan portfolio from $260 million to $350 million over a 5-year period, generating revenues of nearly $4 million annually. I was instrumental in developing business for a former UFJ Bank subsidiary that enabled the bank to secure multi-national accounts.
In my last role, I managed $1.6 billion in credit facilities from various industry sectors in Southern Ontario and Atlantic Canada while mentoring Commercial Account Managers on how to structure deals.
As President of Bench Capital Advisory, we structured credit proposals for various companies in the manufacturing, biotech, food distribution, consumer goods and clean tech sectors. At BETA Inc. where I am a Managing Partner, my Advisors and I help companies achieve business excellence and implement proven turnaround strategies to improve our client’s operational efficiencies and financial performance.
